Stop Ear Wax Using These Home Remedies

Many of us seek home remedies for most common issue that we might have with pains and discomforts especially ear wax removal. The most common home remedy for ear wax removal is the cotton swab also known a Q-Tips.

The sad news is using cotton swabs or Q-Tips for ear wax removal is a very bad idea. Even though we see wax coming out of the ear when we use cotton swabs. That doesn’t mean it is working because what we don’t see is making the problem worse.

That’s the swab pushing some ear wax deeper into the ear. In addition to pushing ear wax deeper into the ear using a cotton swab to remove ear wax there is a chance you could damage the ear drum and if that happens it will hurt.

If you feel you have a problem with ear wax and want a safe way to get rid of it using a home remedy many homeopathic practitioners suggest using hydrogen peroxide and warm water to flush unwanted ear wax out of the ear.

It is a simple process that involves putting a few drops of hydrogen peroxide into the wax each night for about three night in a rows. Each night put few drops of peroxide into the ear wait about five minutes then let it drain out.

After having done this for a few nights use a bulb syringe filled with warm water to gently flush the soften ear wax out of the ear. To dry the ear put a few drops of rubbing alcohol into the ear and let it drain out.

Some practitioners feel that hydrogen peroxide can be to strong of a substance to use some time for a ear wax removal home remedy. If you feel this way try using a mineral oil like paraffin oil instead of peroxide and instead of using alcohol afterwards you can try diluted apple cider vinegar. Using the diluted apple cider vinegar afterwards may help replenish natural ph balance.
